How can I train my dog?

GOING ON VACATION?

Then it's a perfect time for board and train.

Happy Trails Pet Center Training is offered by well-known Georgia dog trainer Ben Lackey. Ben saw that his unique approach to dog training was a natural extension of the work they already do at Happy Trails Pet Center. Through the initial evaluation conducted of dogs before they enroll in Doggie Day Care, it is often discovered that before a dog is ready to socialize in Doggie Day Care at HTPC, the dog needs help with behavioral issues.

HTPC has developed four training programs designed to conquer most issues ranging from simple behavioral issues to severe aggression. With our approach to training, we guarantee that you will see results immediately. We know that you want a happy and harmonious relationship with your dog, and we help you create that relationship. Take a few minutes and review our program offerings. If you have questions, send us an e-mail and we’ll get back with you very quickly.

Remember, the dog you have today does not have to be the dog you have tomorrow.

Training Philosophy

Please review the following information before contacting Happy Trails Pet Center, Inc about training your pet.
Below you will find a few quick videos of my philosophy on training and the techniques that I find most effective. I have also included video’s of the tools that I use most commonly in everyday training. By no means is this all inclusive. I use a wide variety of tools and techniques, so no two dogs are the same and every dog is treated uniquely. Enjoy the videos and if you have any questions, please feel free to call.

WALK DOCTOR

Is walking your dog a nightmare? Has it become something you dread instead of something you look forward to? We can change all of that in as little as two sessions.

LOW LEVEL E-COLLAR TRAINING

Do you dream of a dog who comes every time you call him, no matter where you are or what is going on around you?

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATIOIN

This program is designed for the dog with behavioral issues that conventional training has not been able to correct.
